Prezentujemy cykl poświęcony naszym Wykładowcom - "Za kulisami UOUW". Wykładowcy uchylają rąbka tajemnicy o sobie, swoich pasjach i zajęciach, które prowadzą. Prezentujemy odpowiedzi przygotowane przez mgr Alessię Vignoli:

Professionally about me:

1. Why is it worth enrolling in your course?

I think that it is worth enrolling in my Italian course because I am a native speaker with years of experience in the field of teaching, and I hope that I can contribute to a better understanding of many aspects of my native country for a Polish public.

What's more, I've decided to submit another course, taught in French, whose program is related to my main research topic, the French-Caribbean culture, history and literature, because I think that it's important to wake people's interest on less known subjects.

No matter the language I use, my courses are always prepared and taught with love and passion.

2. Why did you decide to become a Lecturer at the UOUW?

Because I've always loved to share the knowledge I learnt during my studies with people interested in learning, and I love to share opinions on many subjects, that's why I make a lot of questions and like to hear people's suggestions. So, as soon as I heard about the possibility to become a lecturer at UOUW a few years ago, I decided to submit an Italian course that was really appreciated - that trimester was the best of my life until now!

Informally about me:

3. If you weren't a lecturer, who would you be?

I would probably be a sports journalist - I've always loved writing and sports so it would be the perfect combination of my two passions. Tennis, soccer and basketball are my favorite sports but generally I can watch every sport and comment on them!

4. The place where you can rest best?

It's definitely my grandfather's native village - a tiny village with seven houses and a small, abandoned church in the Italian countryside. I've spent a lot of time there during my childhood and today, every time I go back to Italy, I try to spend a few days there - it's for me the most beautiful place in the world.

5. What do you value in relationships with other people?

When it comes to relationships with other people, I value kindness and altruism a lot and I tend to avoid selfish people. I also give a lot of importance to a good sense of humor and irony, two qualities that are necessary for me to be in a nicerelationship with someone.
